This Newbury opportunity offers a £30,000 basic salary with OTE of around £36,000, plus additional commission for service plans — giving you another opportunity to increase your earnings.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join an established automotive business in Newbury.

You’ll be working in a customer-focused Aftersales environment, managing customers throughout the service and repair process while maximising every opportunity to deliver a great customer experience.

• £30,000 basic salary

• £36,000 OTE

• Additional commission on service plans

THE ROLE

• Manage customers throughout the service and repair journey.

• Book vehicles into the workshop and manage customer requirements.

• Provide clear updates on vehicle progress, additional work and completion times.

• Liaise closely with Technicians and the Workshop team.

• Prepare accurate estimates and invoices where required.

• Identify and maximise appropriate additional sales opportunities, including service plans.

• Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction throughout the process.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Good understanding of Service and Aftersales operations.

• Confident working in a busy, target-driven environment.

• Professional and organised approach.

It would be great if you also have

• Previous main dealership experience.

• Experience working with service plans and additional sales.

• Strong upselling and customer retention skills.

• Experience using automotive dealer management systems.
