Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of 4x4's and Land Rovers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialised tools and equipment
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, transmission, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
• Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
• Assist with the installation of new parts and accessories as required
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed in accordance with company standards
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
• Assist in the organisation of workshop tasks to optimise workflow and productivity

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on various vehicle types
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including lifting vehicle parts or equipment up to specified weights
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or automotive technology are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physical fitness suitable for the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and manual handling tasks
