Vehicle Preparation Technician

Bowker Motor Group are recruiting a full-time Technician for their Vehicle Preparation Centre at Bamber Bridge.

The Role:

Includes but is not limited to:

• To ensure customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types
• To employ knowledge and skills as may be required to test vehicles and diagnose faults
• To carry out servicing and repairs in a safe, economical, efficient and competent manner and to manufacturer standards
• To note and report all components, materials and consumables used
• To report current and possible future vehicle faults and servicing requirements noticed whilst working on vehicles

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will have attained a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Repair & Maintenance, have proven experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate:

• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• An effective communicator
