A workshop controller is responsible for managing and delegating the workload within their garage. Reporting to the service manager, the role tends to be in a dealership.
The workshop controller will push tasks out to a team of vehicle technicians and oversee all projects to ensure they are delivered to the correct standard. Other responsibilities include liaising with numerous departments within a dealership, for example. The workshop controller is the go-to person for queries regarding repairs, maintenance etc.
