Lloyd Motor Group is the largest privately owned prestige motor group in the North covering Cumbria, the North East, Lancashire and the South of Scotland. Our company prides itself on its professional yet personal approach in dealing with and supporting its Customers and Staff. Lloyd Motor Group currently has 4 Land Rover sites (2 of the sites also include Jaguar brand), 6 BMW & MINI sites, 5 modern Bodyshops as well as representing Volvo, Kia and Honda motorcycles and Motorrad. This is a newly created position to help support the aftersales team in driving the parts department forward. Your duties will include: * Manage a team of Parts Advisors / Parts Delivery Driver to ensure first class customer service to both internal and external customers. * Stock Management - ensuring that there is adequate stock available on site at all times and that processes are followed in correctly identifying and warehousing of stock items. * Analyse Parts Reports, control department costs, including debt management. * Monitor financial effectiveness of Parts distribution, ensuring maximisation of vehicle / route on an ongoing basis. * Ensuring best practice housekeeping and health and safety standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department. * In conjunction with the Marketing department and Group Aftersales Manager, identify promotions / marketing activities and ensure the parts team communicate/promote these to customers. * Manage stock checks. The ideal Parts Manager will have the following skills and experiences: * Good leadership skills in managing a team of Parts Advisors and Parts Delivery Driver. * Excellent Customer Relations. * Parts Report Analysis experience. * Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented. * Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous. * Previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry is desirable.
