Our client is is a leading hirer of self-drive traffic management vehicles servicing the whole of the UK. Based in Lancashire, they are within easy reach of M6, M61 and M65 motorways and enjoy a newly refurbished work environment.

The role is Fleet Technician to work alongside an established, professional, and very highly regarded team.
You will be involved in the build process, on-going maintenance, and upkeep of the companies hire fleet, comprised of specialist TM vehicles, as well as TM vehicles belonging to external customers. The work encompasses the installation and maintenance of all auxiliary systems. Where necessary, the company will provide internal or third-party training.
These duties are not to be regarded as exclusive or exhaustive. You will be required to carry out any other duties considered to be within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.
Required Skills and Experience:
A proactive team player is required, who is keen to take ownership of tasks. You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 equivalent in heavy or light vehicle repair & maintenance, or a similar qualification in auto electrics. You will have a diligent and positive approach as well as a passion for the job, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. An ability to work well under pressure, a keen eye for detail and an ability to use initiative will be of paramount importance.
HGV licence an advantage, but not essential.
Auto-electrical experience an advantage.
£28,000 to £32,000 basic salary based on experience, plus overtime and a company van.
Working hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
