Trainee Car Sales Executive - Fleet and Local Business Department
Due to ambitious growth plans here at Martins Volkswagen we are looking for a Trainee Fleet Sales Executive to join our busy Fleet and local Business Sales department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to forge a career in automotive sales. No previous Motor Trade experience is required, as full training will be given. Although previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is a distinct advantage.
Your initial focus will be on providing a timely and professional response to enquiries from our online advertisements. You will be required to qualify the needs of local businesses and Personal Contract Hire customers. Providing them with accurate information including finance quotations. Ultimately, your goal is to secure their purchase and supply the vehicle with the very highest levels of customer service. This requires exceptional numeracy and communication skills, plus a friendly, outgoing and agreeable personality.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• GCSE and / or higher-level qualifications in Maths and English. Providing strong mathematic and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Previous sales, retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Computer Literate with a strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
• Full / Clean driving licence.
Typically, you will be asked to work approximately 40 hours a week, during our business hours (Monday to Friday).
Your training period is expected to last between 6 and 12 months, during which you will be paid a competitive salary plus commission opportunities. You will also earn your nationally recognised accreditation with Volkswagen Automotive Group. Following the successful completion of your training period, your role as a qualified Fleet Sales Executive will provide an excellent salary package, plus benefits including pension contribution, health insurance and a fully expensed Company car.
