Our client, a Motorcycle dealer in the Brighton area is looking to employ an experienced Service Advisor for their busy Motorcycle Service Department. You will receive full training and enjoy fantastic career opportunities within the company.
This is a key role within the group as you will deal with the existing customer base in order to keep them up to date with MOT's, Services and any other customer service issues.
As part of the Aftersales team you will be responsible for:
* Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day.
* Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
* Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles’ progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
* Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their Bike is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers.
* Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
* Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell.
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Ideally you will have experience working within a dealer based Service role and have a passion for Motorcycles. Our client will consider experienced Car Dealership Service Advisors also with no Motorcycle experience.
* Customer awareness.
* Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Confident and professional communication skills.
* Full driving license is a must and preferably a Motorcycle Licence.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm with Saturdays on a rota.
