Parts Advisor Arbury Motor Group is a West Midlands multi award winning dealer group, currently representing Citroen, Fiat, Nissan, Skoda, Abarth, SEAT and Peugeot brands. We require a Parts Advisor for our busy Peugeot dealership in Lichfield. As a local West Midlands Privately owned motor dealer group we continue to grow and we are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to help us achieve outstanding Customer Satisfaction. Ideally you will have Franchise experience; however, manufacturer training will be on-going for the successful candidate. The Parts role is both demanding and rewarding. It is critical in supporting the site Dealer Principal and the Group to reach their objectives. The Parts Advisor oversees the parts department and is responsible for maximising departmental profitability, achieving the departmental business plan and all company objectives. The Parts Advisor must also take responsibility for effectively controlling and maintaining resources, including stocks and equipment and minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. They will be required to lead and develop their team in order to create a motivational working environment, aid colleague retention, encourage continuous improvement and promote enhanced performance in colleagues with the ultimate aim to achieving an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record within the role, ideally with Franchised Motor Industry experience and must be committed to achieving excellence. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing performance, profitability and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will be expected to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating and managing the whole team. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. We are looking for individuals who possess the following competencies: - Leading and Supervising - Planning and Organising - Analysing - Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations - IT Literacy - A full, valid UK driving license Role & Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role are as follows: Departmental Financial Performance Generating Gross Profit: To deliver gross profit in line with the business plan by maximising the number of hours sold and driving revenue per transaction by motivating upsell and product sales. Departmental Expenditure: To monitor and control costs in line with the business plan whilst maintaining quality standards and Customer service. Data quality: To ensure accurate collection and recording of customer data in line with Arbury standards. Manufacturer Franchise Standards: To ensure that the manufacturer's standards are adhered to at all times. Health and Safety: To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy.
