Workshop Forman - Late Shift - Kings Lynn Competitive rate of pay

As one of the UK’s largest independently-owned commercial vehicle workshop operators, our client supports its customer base across the eastern counties, providing a full support solution from 13 dealer points.

They are an established Scania dealer where the premium quality of the products they sell is reflected right the way through their business – providing a diverse level of aftersales support for all makes of HGV, passenger vehicles, vans and agricultural and industrial vehicles.

They now have a vacancy for a Late Shift Workshop Foreman to work amongst the existing team at their Kings Lynn branch.Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

* Responsible for managing overall workshop operations efficiency
* Manage all late-shift team, including monitoring of time-keeping and productivity, authorising overtime and identifying training needs
* Ensure a high quality of customer service is delivered at all times
* Establish a close working relationship with all departments
* Deal with queries in an effective manner ensuring all necessary actions are complete
* Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations and safe working practices are adhered to at all times
* Assist in the training and development programs for all department staff
* Any other general duties as designated by the Manager

Candidate Requirements

Self-driven with experience of working with others to deliver customer satisfaction

Excellent communication skills

Strong team player

Good customer service skills

Ability to work to strict deadlines

General knowledge of the industry and technical awareness of all makes of motor vehicles  

Management of personnel (preferred)

Excellent organisational skills

Computer literate
