MSXI are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work as part of a dedicated team to assist and support a Global Vehicle Manufacturer’s dealer network by clarifying warranty coverage, processes and procedures.

This role will require an automotive professional with a passion for problem solving and customer service.  You will interact with multi discipline departments such as Engineering, Technical Services and Customer Relations within the client’s organisation. Whilst full training is required, we are looking for candidates with previous vehicle workshop, bodyshop or warranty experience.

 

As a Warranty Advisor you will be expected to succeed at the following tasks

Candidate Responsibilities

·         Handle incoming dealer telephone calls and emails

·         Clarify warranty coverage and procedures

·         Review warranty claims to ensure correct parts and labour schedules are used

·         Process all documents to support warranty claim payment (i.e. job cards, vehicle hire invoices etc.)

·         Prior approve all warranty body and paint repairs

·         Assess and approve repairs outside of standard warranty terms

·         Administer the setting up of AA roadside assistance cover

 

Candidate Specifications

 

·         Previous vehicle workshop, bodyshop or warranty experience an advantage

·         Familiar with mechanical and/or body repair methods and costings

·         Willingness to cover colleagues workload during periods of vacation/absence

·         Computer literate, particularly MS Office

 

Competencies and Skills Required

·         Ability to liaise and interact at all levels within the dealer network

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

·         Ability to work on own initiative and highly motivated

·         Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive personality

·         Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the clients brand

 

Working hours

·         40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (typically 7.30am -3.45pm however as the phones must be covered until 4.45pm there is a rota whereby one person works 8.30am-4.45pm each day)
