Job Role: Warranty Administrator
A position has become available for a full time Warranty Administrator at a well established dealership. This role is very similar to that of Warranty Administrator, so would be perfect for anyone with Warranty experience.
As a Warranty Administrator you must be able to accurately administer all vehicle warranty claims ensuring the maximum claim value is achieved, whilst adhering to manufacturers and franchises company policies.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work to deadlines whilst ensuring their work is thorough and accurate and to display a genuine passion for customer care, working toward a group ambition of providing an 'easy and enjoyable experience every time' for all of our customers.
Working as part of a small team you will need to be flexible, a good communicator and have excellent organisational skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will have Warranty Admin experience, and preferably a background in Commercial Vehicles.
To ensure all warranty work claimed is submitted in a timely fashion in line with manufacturer guidelines and standards
To authorise consumable and internal parts requisitions
To ensure health and safety procedures are observed and maintained at all time
Actively seek to achieve the requirements of VQM
Ensure the job card process and peripheral requirements are fully implemented
Ensure all clerical functions within the warranty department are carried out in accordance with company policy
To review warranty reporting systems with the Service Manager and initiate improvements where possible
Administer warranty policy in the best interests of the dealership, Manufacturer and customer
To keep records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections and customer contributions towards goodwill claims
To make Service Manager aware of front line staff not completing records correctly when warranty is diagnosed on a vehicle
To maintain effective liaison with other company employees, specialist repairers and Manufacturers representatives
To inform all dealer personnel of forthcoming recall campaigns and changes in warranty/goodwill procedures
Advise other company employees on all warranty related matters
