Our client a large motor trade franchised dealership near Solihull West Midlands is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their small friendly workshop team.

As a Technician/Mechanic you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of quality vehicles. You will perform all work quickly, efficiently and to the Manufacturers standards, identify and advise of additional work required and the rectification of faults first time.

The successful applicant will be able to work safely and efficiently to produce work of the highest standard, work well as part of a team and be able to comply with all company and manufacturer disciplines and procedures.

You would have worked previously as a Vehicle Technician and must hold a full UK driving licence. You must have some basic qualifications i.e.: level 1/2/3. MOT Licence would be useful, but the client does not want an out and out MOT Tester!!

Working Hours – Monday – Friday 0830-1700 – Rota Saturdays 1 in 2 Mornings

Basic Salary – DOE as the client currently has 2 Positions and is happy to look at varying depths of experience. PDI Tec: to 21k base, Service Tec to 24k base, Diagnostic Tec to 27k and all have a good Bonus structure.
