What we are looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic team player to join our Bristol store.  The successful candidate will assume ownership for taking photographs of all our vehicles as defined by company standards, in order for them to be uploaded to our webiste and other advertising channels. You must have a self-starter with a genuine passion for vehicles and photography.

Work Pattern

40 hours per week.  Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

What you will be doing

  • Liaising with the Advertising team
  • Operating our purpose-built turntable on location
  • Capturing and processing high quality images of vehicles, in line with our set creative
  • Verifying the quality and accuracy of each image, ensuring that images display vehicle features clearly and fully
  • Determining desired images and compositions
  • Selecting the appropriate equipment, settings and light to achieve desired results
  • Uploading images
  • Reimaging substandard images
  • Processing vehcicles through the turntable following standard operating procedures
  • Demonstrating safety commitment and modelling related behaviours
  • Feeding back to the team if improvements are required
  • Streamlining and/or finding ways to imrpove work processes
  • Assisting in promotional events and social media posts as required
  • Any other relevant duties as required 

What we need from you

  • A good standard of education including English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above
  • Level 3 qualifications are advantageous e.g. A Levels, NVQ L3 in photography/image processing
  • A full and valid UK Driving licence
  • Ability to use different types of photographic equipment and software
  • Ability to discuss complex artistic concepts in easy to understand terms
  • Understanding of artificial and natural lighting
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Manual dexterity
  • Good visual abilities including close, distance and depth perception
  • Ability to manage your own time, resources and workload effectively
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be extremely advantageous
