At the heart of our professional service function is our Vertu Vehicle Solutions Team. We are currently looking for an experienced Used Commercial Vehicle Buyer. This role offers flexibility and autonomy and will provide future development opportunities.
About the Role
The Role • Reporting into the Operations Manager. • Working from home, although you will travel across all Vertu Motors PLC sites in the UK. • Company car, mobile phone, laptop and fuel card will be provided. • Ensuring stock checks on vehicles in the group. • Liaising with General Managers and Sales Managers. • Responsible for the purchase of Used Commercial Vehicles across the Vertu Motor group. • Liaising with corporate supply chains, manufactures or auction sites.
The Person: • It is essential that you have recent, used commercial vehicle buying experience. • Previous experience with retail pricing, stock control and appraisals. • Excellent communication and negotiating skills. • Enjoy working towards targets and delivering results. In addition to this, you will need a full UK Driving Licence.
