We now have the exciting opportunity for an individual who excels within a fast paced, challenging and hugely rewarding environment to be a Training Operations Coordinator - Accommodation.

The Role:

As the Training Operations Coordinator you’ll manage the provision of hotel accommodation for delegates attending training at Volkswagen Group’s National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.

Position Summary:

  • To manage the accommodation requirements of delegates attending courses at the NLC.
  • Produce regular reporting to Line Manager / VWG Learning Services; manage ad-hoc requests to statistical data.
  • Provide confirmed guest information to accommodation providers in line with agreed deadlines, eliminating opportunities for unnecessary charges to be levied.
  • Provide regular forecasted volume updates to accommodation providers.
  • Establish strong relationships with the Accommodation providers, ensuring good rapport and open channels of communication.
  • Manage delegate course bookings, amendments and cancellations and ensure all relevant ABR’s (additional booking requests) are actioned accordingly.
  • To provide assistance to the Network in all things LEAP (LMS) related.
  • Monitoring and subsequent action of requests into the NLC Delegate Support inbox.
  • Provision of 1st Line telephone support to the VWG UK Retailer Network for all LMS related queries.
  • Participate in cross-training and up-skilling initiatives as directed by Line Manager / Team Leader
  • Assist with training scheduling activity.
  • Continuous review of related processes with a view to rationalizing, refining and improving
  • Adhere to all departmental KPI’s and contract SLA’s at all times.
  • To foster strong relationships with Network staff, VWG Management Team, Brand representatives and 3rd Party suppliers.
  • To undertake all tasks and responsibilities specified in the company’s operating procedures, working instructions and current employment and health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Undertake other such duties as may be reasonably requested periodically
