What we are looking for

Enthusiastic and outgoing individuals with a strong desire to build a Commercial Vehicle or Car Sales career. 

Experience in any Sales or Customer facing environment is advantageous but ultimately it’s about your ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service.  You must be ambitious with a professional manner and have a strong desire to succeed. For the right people, a fantastic earning potential exists.

The environment is fast paced and sometimes pressurised and being able to quickly adapt to meet all customers' needs is a must.

Work pattern

Monday to Sunday on rota - alternating 1 day off 1 week; 2 days off 1 week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays).

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for assisting customers with commercial vehicle enquiries with the aim of winning business, and ultimately guiding the customers smoothly and professionally through their car purchase journey ensuring that it is an unforgettable experience.  This is a developmental role, supported by the existing Sales team, with the opportunity to progress to a Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive role which attracts a highly competitive package.

 

  • Contacting possible new/existing customers (phone, email etc.)
  • Recording Sales activities 
  • Receiving and welcoming walk-in customers
  • Attending to queries
  • Establishing customer needs
  • Ensuring that vehicles are prepared for the customer
  • Presenting information confidently
  • Liaising with the Sales Manager and other members of the Sales team
  • Adhering to company policy, processes and practices
  • Achieving personal targets
  • Assist with forecourt management
  • Operate within company policies and procedures, including GDPR

What we need from you

  • A good standard of education at least Level 2 qualifications or equivalent, or above (GCSE)
  • A full, current and valid UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility and commitment – you will be expected to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service alongside working in a target driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to adopt a hands-on approach and assist others when required
  • Good IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Knowledge and awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
  • Enthusiasm; motivation; professionalism; assertiveness; flexibility; adaptability
  • Experience in Sales and/or Customer Service environments is an advantage but not a requirement
