Technical Services Team Leader

Salary: £35,000

Location: Thames Ditton / Twickenham / Epsom / Kingston Upon Thames / Surrey

Our client who is looking for a Technical Services team Leader is one of the UK's largest independent fleet solutions experts have been in the trade for over 20 years and also have the industry's most comprehensive portfolio of services. Duties of the Technical Services Team Leader:

  • To provide a high level of service delivery to their clients in all areas of the Technical Services operation;
  • To monitor and action all modules of the 1Link Service Network system in order to ensure that the focus is always maintained on costs control and vehicle downtime.
  • To ensure that maintenance telephone calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently. To help and advise the Account Management team with technical and procedural questions.
  • To ensure breakdown and recoveries are directed to appropriate network repairers in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • To action and manage any customer concerns raised against the department or its PSP network through to satisfactory conclusion.
  • To ensure that any reports required for client review meetings are compiled within agreed deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • To carry out all specified administrative tasks according to operational procedures, to include (but not limited to) service bookings, downtime management, authorising work requests and invoice processing.
  • To ensure working instructions are regularly reviewed for process improvements and are updated accordingly.

General

  • To maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
  • To act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely ensuring tasks are achieved within the set time-scales.
  • To deal with any concerns or issues that may arise, implementing preventative improvements.
  • To carry out any duties deemed reasonable over and above standard duties including, deputising in other roles in periods of absence.
