Site Manager

Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing organisation, seeking an experienced Warehouse Site Manager on a permanent and full time basis.
The role will involve managing the operational and business requirements of the warehouse, helping to create a positive working environment for their busy team in Chepstow.


This interesting and varied position will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Motivate and encourage team members at all
  • Hold regular team briefings to keep everyone informed on performance and communicate important information and
  • Hold review/ appraisal meetings with team members as
  • Ensure that all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge in order to carry out their duties.
  • Identify training requirements that will improve the skills level of team and ultimately, the overall skills
  • Ensure all team members are managed consistently and in line with company HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective delivery of excellent customer services at all levels
  • Ensure a pro-active approach to customer service is taken throughout the
  • Allow smooth implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Achieve pre-determined profit & cost objectives
  • Ensure site stock levels are maintained through regular audits
  • Ensure targeted growth of sales
  • Ensure that all company administrative procedures are adhered
  • Conduct regular reviews of the Management Accounts to identify opportunities to improve performance and to reduce
  • Manage absences, sickness and holidays
  • Provide labour manning requirements based on current, potential or forecast volumes
  • Utilise health & safety audits to take any necessary preventative and corrective measures
  • Ensure Site Risk assessments are reviewed and updated
