This is an exciting opportunity to join the Fire and Rescue Technical Support Service who are responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to all types of vehicles whilst delivering a professional service to a wide range of internal and external customers.
You will report, consider and assist with investigations about reported infringements as well as carrying out inspectional testing. You will maintain and develop high standards of knowledge of current maintenance standards, legislation and trade practices relation to the responsibilities of the preventative maintenance service. Using your interpersonal skills, you will work very closely with other Engineering professionals to achieve business and service solutions to issues in order to deliver high standards of service to corporate and external customers.
