What we are looking for

Assertive, calm and enthusiastic Service Advisors to join our well established busy team at our Bristol and Weston Autocentre.  The successful candidate will display exemplary customer service skills and a positive attitude.

You will act as liaison between customers and the workshop, communicating with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines, addressing customer concerns etc.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm; alternate Saturday 8am to 1pm

What you will be doing

  • Greeting customers, listen to requests, schedule appointments, estimate costs, and answer queries
  • Communicating with customers with regards to vehicle problems/issues
  • Communicating with technicians about vehicles statuses, and ensure that vehicle will be ready on time
  • Acting as an advocate for customers when communicating vehicle problems
  • Liaising with technicians about parts ordering to ensure requisite parts are available when required, and communicate any time restrictions to customers in timely manner
  • Maintaining positive relationships with customers ensuring repeat business
  • Displaying extensive knowledge about products and services
  • Approaching transactions with sales-minded professionalism and suggestively sell products and services to customers
  • Processing customer payments
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of service department

What we need from you

  • A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3
  • A current and valid UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in Motor Trade Aftersales
  • Previous experience in roles such as Workshop Manager/ Workshop controller/Service Advisor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • A hands-on approach
  • The ability to work within a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to business needs
  • The ability to manage your time, resources and workload effectively with minimum supervision
