Our Client is excited to announce that it will shortly be opening a new dealership in Littlehampton. An opportunity has therefore arisen to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join them in this venture.
You will have a minimum of 2 Years Car Service Advisor experience preferably with a franchised dealer, a proven ability to build strong long-lasting customer relationships, along with fantastic organisational and time management abilities. The successful candidate will also bring with them a wealth of customer service skills and always willing to go the extra mile to help our customers.
This pivotal role is crucial to the long-term success of the dealership, where you will act as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding. You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing customer job cards before arrival, selling additional work found and invoicing.
Answering inbound customer calls and responding to customer e-mails.
Ascertaining customer requirements by listening to the customer description of symptoms, clarifying the problem and documenting this verbatim, advising accordingly.
Determining services needed by reviewing service history and referencing manufacturer service intervals.
Advising customers on potential work required, providing a quotation and documenting on the service booking.
Prepare service and repair estimates, advise on routine maintenance / repair services required.
Identifying and selling value-added services and accessories as required.
Determining the customer's alternative transport requirements and arranging them as required.
Planning and advising the customer of vehicle drop off times.
Checking for outstanding warranty campaigns and loading the workshop appropriately.
Professionalism, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills are essential qualities, as is a full driving license.
The successful applicant will be a great team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to use their own initiative.
