A leading Sussex/Surrey group is offering an excellent opportunity for a service advisor
The role which is normally involves meeting and greeting customers when they bring their cars in for service. During the day you will be expected to keep in contact with the customers, letting them know what additional work is required. Finally you will be expected to invoice the work.
Some sort of sales background helps, a lot of car dealer incentivise their staff to sell additional items at the time of service such as tyres, air conditioning checkups etc
The candidates must be well presented, enthusiastic and prepared to work.
Good IT skills important.
Most car dealership service departments are open 8-6 Monday to Friday and 9-1 on Saturdays. Service advisors work on a rota within those hours. You would be expected to work 1 in 3 Saturdays.
