Senior Business Development Manager – Field Based - South UK  

  • (Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Kent)
  • £40,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary depending on experience

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll be utilising your sales experience to establish new business opportunities across a diverse array of SME & corporate businesses in the North of the UK.

Working alongside the senior leaders within the business, we are looking for a natural leader who is self-sufficient and ready to organically grow into a more managerial role supporting the new team during the next exciting phase of growth.

Enthusiasm, charisma and the desire to succeed, coupled with a structured sales approach are a necessity to succeed in this role. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Setting, delivering and driving the strategic new business strategy for your territory
  • Ensure upselling and cross-selling opportunities are developed and won across your region using the businesses suite of services
  • Achieving profit and volume targets against budget via Strategic Business Development
  • The ability to take control of your earnings where you will be rewarded for your performance
  • Working closely with the businesses well established Marketing experts to ensure success across your territory
  • Embedding yourself within the business and it’s journey, preparing yourself for your own personal development journey
  • Working alongside automotive industry pioneers


  • Background routed from a structured sales process and training, with the ability to close business at all stakeholder levels
  • Be self-sufficient and used to working autonomously
  • A natural leader who is ready to take on a challenge over the coming years
  • Experienced in managing your own diary and success in self-generating your own pipeline of prospects within a large territory
  • Experience working within a similar business development capacity whether within industry or out
  • Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills, possess great commercial awareness and the ability to close complex deals. 

Enthusiasm, passion and Integrity are a necessity to succeed in this role.

We are open to both automotive industry or outside experience, would have particular interest in talking to strong sales leaders from perhaps, office furniture, supplies or even logistics background.
