Harbour Cars are an award winning Porsche specialist in Chichester established 18 years. We are looking for an experienced Car Sales Executive.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for buying and selling the finest cars and delivering the very best in customer service.

Although car sales experience is essential it does not necessarily need to be with our brand provided you have a strong proven track record. Insurance requirements and the specialist nature of our cars require candidates to be experienced business professionals.This is a rare opportunity as the right people serve many years.

  • £20,000 Basic Salary

  • 5 Day week Monday - Saturday with day off 'in week'
  • No working Sundays or Bank Holidays as we are closed.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Appraising cars offered in part exchange and (after training) stock for outright purchase.
  • Preparing and presenting the cars in a showroom environment.
  • Photographing, video and advertising of cars across various media.
  • Handling inquiries from customers in the showroom, by phone and email.
  • Conducting test drives.
  • Preparation of and providing accurate finance quotations.
  • Selling cars in a consultative manner where product knowledge and honesty is king and then providing a positive handover experience.
  • Responding swiftly and competently to product faults and continuing the customers quality of experience beyond the sale.
  • Handling warranty claims.
  • Diligent CRM and customer database management to maintain a long term relationship with customers.
  • We don't sell GAP, Tyre or Alloy Wheel Insurance. We do, however, provide a years Warranty and Ceramic Paint protection for free. We concentrate on buying and selling cars and arranging their finance

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • A full driving license
  • Proven motor- trade experience
  • Ability & desire to quickly gain a very detailed understanding of our products
  • Fluid in finance quotations
  • Strong numeracy in terms of shaping and invoicing a deal
  • A good grasp of written English as much of our communication with clients is via email
  • Technical knowledge of cars and motors a major advantage
  • Passion and enthusiasm for our product and motoring in general
