We now have the exciting opportunity for an individual who excels within a fast paced, challenging and hugely rewarding environment to be a Regional Body & Paint Development Manager.

The Role:

Maintain and continuously develop the network of approved Toyota and Lexus repairers to ensure a customer first approach for our mutual customers and stakeholders.
Support the Development and maintenance existing and any new work provision relations to increase the penetration of Toyota/ Lexus repairs to the approved network hence drive incremental parts sales through the approved network.

Degree of Influence/Impact

The role spans many areas of Toyota GB (TGB) Repairer Network, both influencing and supporting:

  • Parts sales through the approved network, supporting After Sales Performance Managers and Trade Parts Team
  • Reporting and communications: Internal and External
  • Repairer network review of parts sales and customer first, repairer and work provider KPi’s
  • Supporting Customer Relations, field service Managers on customer & warranty issues
  • TMI and Ageas relations - growing repair jobs and claims, post engineering support
  • Bodyshop network relations and standards & compliance management
  • Network delivery and support of incentives and initiatives

Position Summary:

  • Ensure robust on-boarding process for managing new bodyshop applications and ongoing compliance to standards
  • Develop and share best practice for customer handling between Centre and bodyshop
  • Roll out the Bodyshop communication & reporting tool to each approved Bodyshop
  • Ensure the usage of KPI reports to enable network bodyshop performance management and best practice sharing to stakeholders
  • Share best practice “relationship management “between Centre & bodyshop, supporting After Sales Performance Managers where necessary on Centre customer handling (measured through TSM & mystery shop)
  • Network liaison for support and usage of total loss programme
  • Support of the relationship with Toyota Motor Insurance claims handling and engineering
  • Work closely with trade parts team in developing network relationships and growth
  • Paint Companies - ensure robust network usage of approved products
  • Work Provision development – support TGB (PLC) to seek and build relations with work providers (insurance cos, Accident Mgt cos etc) to develop opportunities for work to approved network
  • Support the Academy to deliver “approved network” training and apprentice scheme

Target Profile/Experience:

  • Excellent client relationship building
  • Experienced in aftersales programme implementation with proven track record, within crash repair sector
  • Vehicle Manufacturer and Dealer experience
  • Good business acumen
  • Flexible to business needs including business travel where appropriate
