About the Role 


Working for GP Strategies, as the Local Operations Manager, you will be aligned to the Quick Lane brand where you will be a support for the UK Operations Manager along with the wider team to launch, transition and operate a viable Quick Lane Franchise network. This role will be covering the South of the UK so ideally you will be based in the Home Counties region, however, we are flexible.


Quick Lane Tyre & Autocentre is a quality maintenance and light repair franchise backed by 114 years of major OE automotive resources and experience. The brand was born out of feedback from customers regarding their needs in an automotive repair shop.


Quick Lane Tyre & Autocentre offers 14 core maintenance and light repair services with tyre and service as the catalyst to the repair and/or replacement of key parts. Quick Lane provides its customers with a trusted place for service that is convenient and transparent. 


The goal is to keep customers at ease throughout their visit by having certified Managers and Technicians on hand to provide needed repairs in an inviting environment.


With over 1,000 stores globally with an aggressive expansion plan over the next 5 years.




What will I do?


  • Support the network strategy and development in the selection of franchisees
  • Oversee the construction of new centres
  • Conduct planning support meetings, setting out objectives
  • To support and help the Franchisee launch their business
  • Review business plans
  • Assist Franchisees with a variety of requirements, including recruitment & training, installation of equipment, fit outs, etc.
  • Ensure marketing material & tools are used, adhering to brand standards




Do you have?


  • Multi-site retail management
  • Knowledge & experience of fast fit or similar business
  • People & performance management experience
  • Knowledge and experience of P&L
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organisational and project management skills
  • Understanding of ISO standard requirements
  • Thorough understanding and application of Quality Operating System (QOS) principles and functions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to drive and hold a full UK driving licence
