Quality Controller

We are looking for a Quality Controller to join our successful group of accident repair Bodyshop’s in London and the South East.

You will be fully experienced in inspecting completed vehicles ensuring that the highest standard of workmanship is consistently and that the vehicle is of the correct standard to deliver back to the customer.

 

 The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • To inspect vehicles to ensure that instructions by Job Card or from the Workshop Controller
  • If the job cards have not been signed he needs to report this to the WC and this then needs to be facilitated by the WC and the vehicle needs rechecking by the technician in front of the WC, and the have been carried out fully and to the required standard
  • Identification of consistent offenders need to be escalated
  • All job cards need to be left in the vehicle and not in tool boxes
  • To manage and performance review the valeters
  • To maintain the quality control and valeting area to Veetec standards
  • To detail in writing faults found and trends of failure
  • To ensure all new parts have been fitted
  • To report any unseen damage omitted from the Estimate
  • To report damaged or faulty equipment immediately
  • To liaise with Workshop Control during final stages of repair process
  • To attend training programmes as required
  • To complete reports and documentation clearly and accurately

 

 

You would need to easily fit into a fast-paced workshop, with a good understanding of the requirements of working to manufacturer’s specifications in a BSI accredited site.

 

With an hourly rate relating to your experience and performance, the working hours are between 42.5 and 47.5 hours per week. A work-based pension scheme is in place and 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays).
