About the Role
Joining their Birmingham Auction Centre, the Quality Control Inspector will act as technical expert between Auction Centres, Inspection Services and mutual customers, ensuring the Inspection policy and process is adhered to at all levels.
Quality Assessment is a key element of this role and you will be required to record inspection and image compliance using TQM methodologies, analyse data and recommend best course of action to site management. You will act as the first point of escalation for customer queries related to inspections and inspection products, and work alongside auction centre management teams to provide regular feedback and support day to day inspection related operations. You will also keep accurate records of inspections performance and ensure the quality control process is timely and has no impact on the productivity of SWIFT.
About the Role
Candidates for this role must have proven competence and ability of vehicle estimating, techniques of repair and the vehicle inspection process to include HH technology, and ideally hold an industry recognised qualification such as IMI or BVRLA. With a proven track record of driving teams to meet SLA and KPI requirements, you will be comfortable influencing stakeholders to create service/technical improvements and have experience of successful improving team and individuals’ performance. Expert knowledge of NAMA AutoGrading is also a must.
