MSXI are currently seeking an Area Parts Manager to work on our national PSA account. The role will drive the Citroën and Peugeot Parts Trade Dealer Network to achieve the objectives for trade parts sales & margin and to advise and guide the Parts Trade Dealers with regards to sales performance, staff motivation and marketing initiatives.

The Area Parts Manager will mainly cover the South West England therefore the successful applicant should ideally be based around the Bristol area. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Citroën and Peugeot Parts Trade Dealers and Regional Part Hubs to achieve the objectives for parts sales and margin.

  • Coach Parts Trade Dealer and Regional Hub Management with regards to sales performance, staff motivation and marketing initiatives.

  • Work with Parts Trade Dealers and Regional Hub Management to grow and develop their trade business by agreeing strategic action plans.

  • Issue annual and monthly sales objectives in line with centrally provided guidelines, encourage Dealers to implement PSA campaigns and initiatives.

  • Ensure that the Dealers achieve the standards listed under the Trade Parts Programme.

  • Ensure the compliance of the Regional Hubs with their obligations under the Contract Criteria and Service Level Agreements with Authorised Repairers.

     

Candidate Specifications:

Essential

  • An in-depth knowledge of Parts & Service activity, processes and programmes. Therefore Parts & Service field experience considered essential.

  • Excellent understanding of Dealer Composite/Management Accounts and Profitability essential.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK aftermarket essential.

  • Experience in process improvement and coaching for improvement desirable.

  • Good IT skills essential.

Desirable

  • Ability to be proactive, independent and target orientated.

  • Ability to influence.

  • Good commercial and financial acumen coupled with an understanding of the aftersales business.

  • Passionate about customer service and brand values.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting demands and priorities under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate at all levels of Dealer Management.

Working Pattern:

  • Full time 40 hours (Monday – Friday) with some flexibility to work unusual and or longer hours as and when required by the project.
