To help enhance the sales and ownership experience, the dealership is recruiting for a Product Genius to this fantastic dealership in Liverpool. You will work closely with their sales, service and parts teams to complement their customers offering and introduce their expert product knowledge.
Supporting the sales team, you could be helping to demonstrate a cars safety or driver assistance systems during a static demonstration, or assisting with the technical part of the handover should the customer wish. You will provide technical support to their service teams by assisting with technical questions from existing customers, be it about dealer driver assistance systems or thematics systems. You will also help advise customers on accessory sales, helping them make the most of their vehicle. It’s about a warm welcome, understanding customers, presenting the products and making the whole experience of buying from their brand, special.
To be successful, you will already have proven customer service and contact experience, ideally within a busy face to face premium retail environment. You build relationships effortlessly and you like to learn whilst absorbing new information quickly. You enjoy helping people to learn too and you will be comfortable explaining technical details to people in a way they can understand - you’ll be patient and articulate too. Calm, able to prioritise and with an eye for detail, you have had experience of balancing a busy and often unpredictable workload with a commitment to great service. With such an appealing product range, the dealerships can be very demanding environments and you’ll thrive on the challenge of making a growing customer base excited about the great service they have received. You’re likely to be seeking that next step to really make your mark on service excellence, and you’re polite and presentable whilst having the skills and desire to become a real brand ambassador. - Proven experience within a customer facing role, ideally within a premium retail environment
- Demonstrable skill in providing expert product knowledge to new and existing customers
- The ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise your time
- A strong and articulate communicator with the ability to build relationships and trust quickly
- Working experience of a busy and unpredictable team orientated environment
- A desire to learn and the ability to pick up new things quickly
- Sound general education with strong literacy and numeracy
Our client is offering competitive basic salary. This is a full time role with 40hours per week: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, and weekend rota Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Sunday 11.00am - 4.00pm
