Job Description: Car Parts Sales Advisor
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE AND COMFORTABLE/EXPERIENCED IN DEALING WITH TELEPHONE ENQUIRIES/SALES.
The company has been incorporated since 1991 compromising of several automotive businesses and an extensive property portfolio.
The car parts business based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire was restructured by a new director 4 years ago and took the business online. We have had a very positive response, sales are growing every quarter. With so much in the pipeline to increase sales and bring in new product ranges we need to off load managerial duties from the developers, so they can continue the momentum.
Job Role: Parts Advisor
We are looking for a Sales & Parts Advisor to support our business consisting of Online Commerce, Trade accounts & Retail.
To be considered for this job you will need to have experience in Automotive Parts from the offset.
The ideal candidate must be sales driven and at the same time be passionate about customer care. We are looking for an intelligent, energetic, enthusiastic, well organised individual who is able to demonstrate a successful track record within the Motor industry.
As part of daily operation, you must have a hands-on approach when managing our team ensuring set objectives are achieved in a professional manner.
Furthermore, the candidate will be dealing with Telephone and Email queries from customers, advising them to the correct products and direct customers to the correct online listings accordingly.
As we are experiencing higher volumes in online sales, our recruit needs to be able to handle emails and you need to be a fast typist of at least 40 words per minute, good vocabulary and spelling.

It is essential you can work in a high pressure and busy environment while still displaying the professionalism required
Be available for cover in alternative shifts when called upon given a reasonable notice
Develop and maintain high standards of customer service to maximise the sales of parts
Ability to handle a high volume of calls from our trade, retail and online customers who want to place an order or need quotes on our product range
Use sales skills, parts knowledge and customer relationship ability to close the deal on quotes so that customers do not go anywhere else and upsell orders to increase sales while ensuring the customer gets value for money
To contact our online customers to ensure the right parts are being dispatched to avoid returns
Limit credits and returns by sending the right parts, the first time
Ideally would have good IT skills to fully utilise our electronic parts catalogues, should have knowledge of MAMSOFT AUTOPART Software however full training would be provided.
You will also be responsible for placing orders of required inventory for sale
Good organisation, communication and team building skills as we are a close-knit team at our location
Note: We advise all candidates to consider the distance to travel if not located locally to Huddersfield before applying for this position.
Term: Fixed, Permanent Position
Business Operation Hours: Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 6pm
Weekends Saturdays from 8:30am - 5:30pm
