About the role

  • Maintains a consistent competency level in body paint preparation and application techniques

  • Demonstrate the effective use of PPE as well as a broad understanding of body repair techniques

  • Competent in decision making when applying varying paint types

  • Maintain own workspace to recognised housekeeping standards

  • Ability to understand the needs of our customers, keeping them in mind when taking actions

  • Provides detailed quality performance / finish

  • Contributes to team meetings and discussions so all customer's expectations are met, if not exceeded.

  • Creates trust based work relationships and is honest in attitude and work practises.

  • Carry out diagnosis and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work on customer vehicles

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service

  • Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

About you

  • Senior ATA or NVQ 3 qualified Preferred Consideration also given for 3rd Year Apprentice

  • Follows Health & Safety legislation

  • Can efficiently implement COSHH requirements

  • Organised with systematic approach to work

  • Works efficiently within manufacturers' time allowances

  • A working knowledge of automotive systems and specific materials required for repair processes.

  • Team-player

  • Detail-orientated with ability to colour match

  • Exemplary communication skills

  • Friendly and approachable manner; acts with integrity.

  • Working knowledge of automotive systems and functionalities

  • Diagnostic experience preferred.

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified, or equivalent, is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

  • A full and valid UK driving licence
