Painter

Veetec Motor Group are looking for talented and efficient spray painters to join our successful group of accident repair Bodyshop’s in London and the South East.

Salary/Benefits:

  •    £40k - £45k based on experience, plus time saver bonus

 

  •    Company Pension

 

  •     28 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays)

 

You will need the following:

  • Experience in ensuring the stripped vehicle is ready to work on

 

  • Mixing paint with minimum wastage

 

  • Spray painting the vehicle to high standards and performing quality checks on your completed work.

 

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced workshop

 

  • A good understanding of the requirements of working to manufacturer’s specifications in a BSI accredited site.

 

  • ATA would be an advantage but not essential.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles as instructed

 

  • Ensure all paint products are mixed and measured correctly

 

  • Confirm no previous damage is causing issues to current repair, if so the issue must be highlighted

 

  • Report unseen damage omitted from estimates as soon as it is identified

 

  • Assess tool and equipment requirements, report damaged or faulty equipment immediately

 

  • Create written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller/production manager
