Volks Autos Ltd has a vacancy for a full time Motor Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop.

Volks Autos Ltd is a family run business that has seen very rapid growth in the 9 years we have been operating. We relocated to larger premises in 2014 and unlike the market trend we continue to see strong growth in our business. We have a 6 lift workshop with space and demand to increase this in the future. We are looking for a Technician to join our company to help with our growth and continue to build on our high level of recognition we receive within the industry for our high quality of work carried out.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a VAG franchised dealer, however we will consider candidates that do not have VAG brand experience.
You will need to be able to accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles and diagnose any additional faults for further repair. Our business reputation is vital and therefore you will need to be able to carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
You will understand the value of real customer service and genuinely want to make the experience for customers as easy and transparent as possible. As a family run business we are always focused on building and maintaining lasting relationships with our customers and this will be something you will need to be able to deliver on.
Communication is a vital skill you will need to demonstrate with colleagues and share best practice within our workshop. A team player is a must and in return you will be treated with respect and encouraged to suggest ideas that would benefit our business. Personal development and training is encouraged.
We are not a “computer says no” company and therefore you will need to offer a flexible and sensible approach to assist customers. We are able to offer higher customer service and a more flexible approach to assist customers as we don’t have to answer to a manufactures head office.
