My client, a well established specialist repairer of Heavy Commercial Vehicles is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV technician to work on a mobile basis covering the Wirral region.

Working from a fully equipped van, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance to include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical service and repair. General duties include correction of running defects, diagnostics, full vehicle overhauls, MOT preparation.

Essential Requirements:
The successful HGV Technician will have have a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing and repair. The successful applicant will also have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three)

Desirable requirements:
It would be beneficial but not essential if the successful HGV Technician had the following skills and attributes: Previous experience as a Mobile HGV Technician, qualifications in electronics and hydraulics, qualifications in chassis repair and maintenance, a current Commercial driving licence (Class 1 or 2) and Trailer maintenance experience.

With your basic salary and overtime, the successful applicant can expect to earn £40,00 per annum, although this figure can be significantly higher depending on the amount of overtime completed.
