Mechanic/ Strip Fitter

Our client a leading bodyshop are looking for an experienced Mechanic/ Strip Fitter

Key role and responsibilities as a Mechanic/ Strip Fitter

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team as an individual

Minimum requirements as a Mechanic/ Strip Fitter

• Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
• ATA is advantageous but not essential

MECHANIC/ STRIP FITTER

£12p/h + Bonus + OT

Durham/Darlington/Sunderland/Newcastle/North East

• Looking to recruit an experienced Mechanic / Strip Fitter
• This is a Fantastic opportunity to join a leading client within the Accident repair Industry
• You will have extensive knowledge of mechanics including suspensions/ diagnostics/ Wheel Alignment
• A NVQ qualification is preferred however is not essential.
• Ideally have experience of working in a fast paced bodyshop/Accident Repair Centre
• Competitive Salary + Bonus + OT
