Main purpose of the job:
To carry out all service-related work and mechanical work to all vehicles and a comprehensive understanding of both
electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and rectify
both simple and often complex faults.
Main responsibilities:
- Current knowledge of brand related diagnostic equipment
- • Must have a full UK driving Licence.
• Excellent communication & staff leaderships skills.
• Current Ford senior technician status keeping up to date on latest
vehicle technology changes
• Current Electric Vehicle qualification
• The ability to read and analyse data, understand complex issues both
mechanical and electrical and able to conclude on how to rectify the
issue.
• Current knowledge of warranty process & procedures
• Ability to assist other technicians in complex diagnosis issues and the
ability to explain the diagnosis process and support colleagues in
repairs when required
• Able to use initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and
effectively.
• Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the
demands of the department.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to
work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload
