We are currently looking for a Fleet Sales Manager to be based at our Corporate Offices in Ealing, London.  Working within the Mercedes-Benz Retail Group Fleet Sales team you will enable the achievement of the Fleet Sales budget plan through the implementation of a robust plan that drives sales volumes in established channels and identify opportunities for growth.

The Fleet Sales Manager is critical to the growth of our business.  You will manage and develop a team of Key Account Managers responsible for winning and maintaining customer accounts by planning sales strategies, prospecting activities, a robust CRM strategy including target setting, measuring activity and performance  and to develop and manage a personal portfolio of major accounts in accordance with the company policies and procedures

YOUR ROLE

As you would expect with a premium brand such as Mercedes-Benz achieving optimal utilisation of the market is key to your success.  Customer satisfaction is the number one priority as you work towards maintaining and growing existing customers within the fleet business in line with company management goals and personal ambitions. 

ABOUT YOU 

Alongside demonstrable experience within a similar role, key experience and skills required for this role include:

  • Demonstrable sales leadership experience and customer relationship management
  • Wide understanding of the Fleet marketplace, supplier landscapes, financial acquisition methods, best practice standards and KPI reporting
  • Able to deploy various sales techniques or strategies to deliver results
  • Understanding of financial budgets including volumes, departmental overheads, marketing and vehicle margins and model mix
  • Strong awareness of digital and social media sales mechanisms
  • Customer focused and able to interact with colleagues of all levels
  • Detailed understanding of relevant UK legislation as it relates to vehicle sales and a good awareness of broader consumer law
