A major commercial vehicle trailer and rigid body manufacturer and repairer is looking for a driven and dynamic Field sales business development manager to sell tipping trailers and tipper bodies, meeting and where possible, exceeding targets for volume, profitability and finance penetration.

ROLE: Business Development - Field Sales
LOCATION: North midlands up to Cumbria, including North Wales
BASIC SALARY: £28k
BENEFITS: Company car or allowance, mobile, laptop, pension
COMMISSION: Uncapped £30k plus
ROLE: 

Responsible for achieving the targeted sales in terms of unit volume, profitability and finance penetration through chosen intermediaries and through direct sales in the Midlands and North of England.

·To sell tipping trailers and tipper bodies, meeting and where possible, exceeding targets for volume, profitability and finance penetration

·To identify sales opportunities with dealers and end users, taking the end user through the full sales process, supporting them in front of the customer where required

·Work with end-user partners to remove any blockages to sales

·Maintain relevant records of quotes, commitments and orders on the CRM system

·Prepare order packs and handover documentation facilitating the timely and accurate building of orders

·Have an effective territory action plan for the development of profitable and long-term business volumes

·Be the main point of contact for your customers during and after the sales process

·To attend and support customer events

·To liaise with all areas of the business to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the manager

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

·Knowledge of the UK trailer and truck bodywork market and specifications appropriate for UK customers, with the ability to challenge their thinking and usual way of working

·Intellect to engage, analyse, define and recommend business solutions to stakeholders at all levels of business
