About the role

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Sales Department within Glasgow Volvo in Hillington

As a BDM you will actively plan and manage a programme of sales activity to promote our Volvo brand whilst maintaining, developing and building new business connections throughout Glasgow, Lanarkshire and surrounding areas. You'll build strong relationships through regularly visiting our corporate clients enabling you to achieve set objectives and develop your accounts. Meeting and exceeding corporate/fleet sales objectives is fundamental to this role as is an ability to negotiate effectively and deliver on your promises.

This role would suit a natural communicator with experience gained from Business to Business sales within the motor industry. You will have well-developed customer care and stakeholder management skills and experience of achieving sales objectives. You'll thrive under pressure, be able to handle conflicting demands and be a commercially minded networker, recognised as having track record in identifying opportunities for growth. Most important is a strong sense of integrity, excellent customer facing and negotiating skills along with an honest and respectful approach and of course, you must have a full and valid UK Driving Licence
