£28,000 to £32,000 - Rotating days and backs

Our client an established and successful company in the manufacture and repair of tankers, trailers and HGV’s, and are looking for a coachbuilder to join their team in Springburn.

The Role of a coachbuilder:

Working as a coachbuilder will involve working in our engineering workshop carrying out body repairs, welding and fabrication work on HGV’s, tankers and trailers, working on a wide range of vehicles.

Required skills for a coachbuilder:

·Fully conversant with the latest repair methods and techniques required to rectify all types of body damage and accident repairs
·Experienced in commercial vehicle bodywork
·Confident repairing damaged vehicles
·Be able to work with minimum supervision
·Fabricating and welding
·Reading Job cards and technical drawings
·Using various air tools (grinders, drills, etc.)
·Be able to competently use small hand tools
·Ability in panel replacement, body filling
·Mechanical fitting where required
