We are looking for a personable, adaptable, resilient, commercial and digitally skilled B2C Marketing Executive who will report directly into the Marketing Manager. You will own all aspects of digital as well as the campaigns for cars and vans on the B2C arm of the business. This is a vital role in driving our business growth and reaching commercial targets. You will use your excellent stakeholder management skills to partner the business in exciting project works such as being the key UK contact supporting the introduction of the CRM system.

Job Summary:

Is known for coordinating the development and implementation of centrally led, direct tactical promotions, including eCRM, digital channels and PR; as well as developing campaigns and activity to support Loyalty objectives and supporting PR reputation management process.

Key Accountabilities:

Email: In co-ordination with the EMEA CRM Manager, manages all UK email communications for the B2C segment. Manages the schedule, ensuing that UK communications are aligned with EMEA wide communications and both Avis and Budget customers are receiving the optimum number of emails. Writes briefs for the eCRM provider (Redeye), supplying UK specific copy and images, carefully proofreading and checking links of all communications. Seeks brand and partner approvals where required.

Direct Marketing Campaigns: Updates and manages the UK Direct Promotional and Messaging calendar (s). Set up, implement, measure and report on UK direct domestic and inbound marketing campaigns. Work with Marketing Manager and EMEA digital and promotional team to implement digital activity that meets UK objectives. Implements EMEA led campaigns and; manage and update the UK part of the EMEA/ International Campaign and Promotional calendar.

CMS: Manages the UK product and promotional updates Avis websites for both UK led and centrally led promotions. Manages all the Budget pages that are not on the booking journey. Creation of content update calendar, submission of briefs and approval of content. Updates the UK team on website performance

Loyalty: Manages the UK loyalty campaigns: to increase acquisition to the preferred programme and to improve the engagement with existing customers resulting in improved customer retention.

Reputation Management: Works with the Marketing Manager to manage the process of press complaints and enquiries to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner with all relevant approvals.

Internal Communications: Takes responsibility for ensuring brand and marketing campaign information is shared with the wider business, utilizing the existing communication channels while making recommendations for new opportunities such as the marketing notice boards and the maintenance of the marketing section of neighbourhood.

Relationship Management: Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal teams – brand, CRM - and external agency teams to achieve objectives and maximize results. Seen as one of the brand experts in the UK team.

Develop Marketing creative: Supports the development of creative, whether in house or managing an agency.


Diploma in Marketing

Ability to drive and travel when required.
