Purely Automotive Recruitment Ltd has an exciting role for an Assistant Service Manager to work within a fantastic business for our client based in Hanley, Stoke on Trent.
About You:
This role would ideally suit someone already working as a Workshop Controller or Senior Service Advisor. However, a Master Technician or Senior Technician who would like a move into management would be considered.
The Successful Candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills:
To effectively manage and mentor Service Advisors and Technicians
Actively coach and support the service team to develop individual competencies
The ability to properly allocate correct levels service work to Technicians
Ensure efficient progression of work through the workshop
To ensure service and repairs are carried out to the highest quality levels to ensure complete customer satisfaction standards
Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and labour resources
The ability to assess and process additional work utilising digital VHC systems
To identify key processes and work to improving workshop flow
Develop training plans for all technical personnel and play an active role with performance development
Increase productivity alongside tracking KPI’s and team management
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are observed and maintained at all times
Build strong relationships with the team, brand and have a strong understanding of warranty processes
