We have vacancy for an ASSISTANT MANAGER who is responsible for assisting with the management of a busy Service Centre working for a modern, forward thinking National Fastfit chain.

•Salary: Up to £28,000 basic plus Bonus

As an Assistant Manager you will be supporting the Centre Principal with leading the centre team from the front, ensuring effective and efficient management is achieved in all areas of the business but most of all customer satisfaction is always exceeded. This is a hands on customer facing role, but also requires the successful candidate to be qualified to level 2/3 and PREFEREABLY hold an Mot license, although we will consider enrolling the right candidate on to an MOT Course which will be funded our client.

You will ensure that at all times the highest level of customer service is maintained both personally and from your team. You will be required to continually promote the company ethos and offers.


•To proactively achieve and/or exceed sales targets
•To assist with the drive of quality & consistency of customer service and retention performance
•To ensure transaction and customer satisfaction targets are achieved
•To effectively manage people, time and resources to build strong recognition and reputation
•To perform all open & close processes
•To assist with weekly schedules/rotas
•To complete all banking procedures
•To follow and promote all company health and safety policies
•To regularly train and support both new and existing employees
•To assist with the recruitment of new employees and identify promotional opportunities where required
•To conduct crew meetings including daily sales updates and expectations
•To complete, or assist with all daily, weekly & monthly accounting processes
•To assist with the order and management of stock
•To manage and assist with customer complaints

Candidates are required to have a BTEC, NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance. An Mot License would be desirable but not essential. You will have at least two years previous mechanical experience.

You will be required to work 45 hours per week working five out of six days Monday to Saturday.

In return for the above my clients are offering a very competitive salary of £28,000 plus an excellent bonus scheme.
