We are looking for an Apprentice who has already started their training or a newly qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team. We are a leading Independent VAG specialist garage in Guildford, Surrey, concentrating on Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda vehicles as well as being a REVO Authorised Dealer. We look after most VAG group vehicles from VW Polo’s, Light commercial vehicles such as VW Transporters to the Audi R8.

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic worker who is looking to progress and concentrate their career on VAG group vehicles.

Salary is negotiable with relevant experience.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri only - 7.30am – 5.30pm          (NO WEEKENDS)

Job Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, motivated and ambitious individual. Working within a specialist and independent garage you will gain a huge amount of knowledge and expertise from our other team members.

You must be driven, confident, with the desire and ability to work to and achieve targets and objectives. You must also be prepared and committed to learn on the job.
We have high expectations that work in our garage is to be completed safely, complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines and should fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction, whilst also maintaining workshop efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

To undertake college and company training and development to successfully complete the chosen Apprentice Scheme to expected and agreed standards.

Should you be already qualified; undertake all in house training & development in pursuit of becoming a more experienced Vehicle Technician.

Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles under line manager supervision and direction, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely, but to fulfil customers complete satisfaction.


In time, you will be expected to complete all jobs that our other Technicians undertake including ordering parts, speaking with customers on the telephone and face to face, road testing vehicles, creating job card and invoices etc.


Candidate Requirements

You should have started your apprenticeship or be newly qualified.

You should have started to collect your own tools, will be required to continue adding to this, but you will have access to an extended tool collection and specialist tools are provided.

Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 ( Six ) Penalty Points.
