Role overview:

Working for a leading Fleet Management / Contract Hire organisation, acting as an EV / PHEV Consultant, you will become the SME to both internal and external customers for the commercial gain of all parties.

As well as an understanding of the leasing & fleet management sector, you will have a significant understanding of the Plug-in vehicle sector and all related areas including, infrastructure, taxation, legislation, grants and local government schemes, utilising this expertise to support business growth. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maximise customer engagement to support all sales areas within the group
  • Promote Consultancy products and tools to both internal and external customers
  • Provide training and sales support across all sales channels on Plug-in products & technologies.
  • Keep knowledge updated including but not restricted to, the EV and Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV’s) market.
  • Keeping the Business updated with legislative changes and government incentives.
  • Maximise the penetration of consultancy products and services to all existing and new customers. 
  • Maintain strategic relationships with Plug-in vehicle related suppliers, maintaining optimal service standards.
  • MI Reporting
  • Support development and transition into future products
  • Innovate to deliver products & services to customers 
  • Identify suitable Partners to further enhance AFV policy and product offering

Pre-requisites:

  • Significant experience within the B2B Fleet arena
  • Demonstrable in depth knowledge of the leasing and fleet management market place
  • Experience of the Plug-in vehicle sector
  • Proven supplier relationships and management
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Project management experience
  • Degree educated
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, written & presentation skills)
  • Intermediate / Advanced MS packages
