I am partnering with a dynamic forward-thinking automotive dealer group, assisting them to find an Aftersales Manager. They are looking for an intelligent and professional individual to join their business so you will need to have proven experience and be able to independently manage and develop a customer focused and profitable aftersales department. This position will require you to be able to cope under pressure, be self-disciplined and an excellent leader. This role is based in the North West London.

The Role

Full responsibility for the aftersales department which includes;

  • Controlling cost management for own department
  • Monitoring manufacturer quality and service standards to ensure these are being met
  • Carrying out analyses of the competition and benchmarking in services
  • Managing, coaching and motivating employees and thus ensuring a high quality of employees
  • Defining target agreements with employees and reviewing the level of target achievement
  • Together with employees, establishing personal development goals and agreeing means of achieving these
  • Preparing planning and calculations for investments in workshops, facilities and HR together with the company management
  • Regularly reviewing prices for workshop services and, after prior agreement with the company management, adapting them to suit the market
  • Planning and controlling service advertising, customer loyalty activities, customer surveys and other measures for monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring regular reporting for company management
  • Setting an example in terms of friendliness and style of dealing with customers
  • Developing measures for ensuring and increasing customer satisfaction

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience working as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager is essential
  • Previous experience working with a prestige brand is also essential
  • The ability to create a good working atmosphere, enthuse and motivate a team
  • Allow others to express an opinion and feedback
  • You must be very well self-disciplined, be able to cope under pressure and passionate

What's on offer?

£50,000 - £53,000 basic

£75,000 - £78,000 OTE
