Job Title: Academy Training Technician

Location: Axalta Refinish Academy, Welwyn Garden City

Line Manager: Training Specialist

Hours: 24 hours per week, 3 days between Monday and Friday

Contract: Fixed term contract for 12 months with potential to be extended

This position is based on site. 

Job Purpose:

To provide essential support to the UK Training Specialist in preparation & delivery of refinish training courses.

To learn all Axalta branded products and processes to be able to support field technicians if and when required.

Main Responsibilities with approx. % of time:

Learning and be conversant with all brand products and support key training course - 20%

Provide support with workshop maintenance and course preparation - 50%

Academy stock control & deliveries and maintain stock levels in all mixing rooms - 10%

Keeping workshop/paint mixing rooms tidy and clear of used paint/vessels/materials - 20%

Planning and Organising

Ability to use initiative to prioritise workload and proactively manage a variety of tasks to maintain the smooth running and efficiency of the Academy.

It is desirable if the candidate has worked with Axalta products previously.
