Technician/Mechanic

MK Fleet Maintenance are looking for a technician/mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to service, maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles in line with manufacturers published guidance. You should be able to monitor, inspect and assess fleet condition and operation making suggestions for corrective action where appropriate.

You will need to have:

• Good mechanical knowledge of cars and light commercial vehicles or similar. Experience with auto electrics would be a bonus.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving knowledge. Competent with diagnostics equipment.
• Interpersonal and communication skills should be of excellent standard as communication is of high importance in this role.
• Attention to detail.
• The right attitude to get the job done.
• Time management at each booking is essential.

Essentials criteria for candidates:

• NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or similar qualification.
• Experienced in vehicle maintenance.
• Full UK drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Dependant on experience plus BONUS

Additional pay:

• Performance bonus

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Licence/Certification:

• Level 3 in vehicle repair and maintenance (required)
